Software Engineer – Full Stack .NET Developer and Scrum Master

Your future team

You will join the Phoenix "Stable team," a skilled and collaborative group working in an Agile DevSecOps environment. The team develops and operates both frontend and backend systems that handle telematics and user interface for Volvo Penta machines. You’ll collaborate closely not only with your teammates but also with stakeholders across IT and the business side of Volvo Penta.

With deep Quality Assurance expertise, you ensure that quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. In your role as a Scrum Master, you help teams stay focused, foster collaboration, and continuously improve how they work.

Comfortable in agile environments, you embrace change and promote a culture of learning and adaptability. Your transparent, committed, and reliable nature builds trust among colleagues and customers. Possessing strong design and problem-solving skills comes naturally to you. Proficiency in English is essential, and you're used to—or enthusiastic about—working in an international setting. You bring a strong team spirit and genuine interest in understanding business processes to support meaningful, value-driven delivery.

Essential Requirements:

Passionate about engineering best practices, clean code, and automating routine tasks Deep Quality Assurance expertise with a proactive approach—able to take ownership of the overall QA strategy, not just execution Experienced Scrum Master who drives continuous improvement, fosters team focus, and promotes agile principles effectively Experience as a Senior .NET Developer with strong proficiency in C# Hands-on experience with testing practices, demonstrating a commitment to writing high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code Experience with Microsoft Azure services, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and both relational and NoSQL databases Comfortable working in agile environments, embracing change, and encouraging collaboration across roles Transparent, committed, and reliable—builds trust with colleagues and stakeholders Fluent in English and experienced working in international, cross-functional teams

 

Nice to have:

Familiarity with security and quality tools such as SonarQube, DAST, SAST, and SCA Understanding of telemetry and diagnostics data in distributed systems Interest in or experience with business process domains, especially in industrial or automotive sectors Exposure to multi-site or global development environments Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and diagnostics in cloud-native applications

 

Your Misson if you accept it:

As a Scrum Master with deep Quality Assurance expertise on the Phoenix team, you’ll play a key role in enabling the delivery of reliable, high-quality Azure-based microservices that support monitoring and diagnostics for Volvo Penta machines. You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to facilitate and ensure that the team understands the scope to build scalable, testable, and value driven solutions.

Facilitate agile ceremonies, remove blockers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement Take ownership of the QA strategy—ensuring quality is embedded throughout development, from requirements to release Champion clean coding practices and promote automated testing and validation Guide the team in applying agile principles effectively while delivering incrementally Collaborate across roles and geographies to ensure reliable and maintainable outcomes that support critical business decisions What’s in it for you?
