Senior Java Developer

Overview

Are you a Senior Java Developer who wants to build innovative products for Norwegian banks?
Mastercard Payment Services Norway (MPSNO) is looking for a senior Java developer to participate in a team working with development and maintenance of our BKAD service. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical and possesses and entrepreneurial mindset

The development team uses the Scrum methodology and works closely together with the product owner and relevant business managers to succeed with the product vision.

In this position you will
•\tContribute to development and delivery of software solutions. Move and adjust existing applications and customization adhering to MasterCard standards, processes and best practices.
•\tPerform system maintenance, identification of root cause and remediation of the problems.
•\tDevelop and maintain our services.
•\tBe a partner for developers and testers as well as for our Business Unit to discuss solutions and functionality.
•\tWork in a team with other developers/testers to achieve the overall goal.



Your professional qualifications include
•\tYou hold a relevant higher education degree.
•\tYou have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with Java development.
o\tWe are open to considering candidates with less experience, providing other personal and professional qualifications match well
•\tYou have experience with agile development processes (E.g. Scrum, Kanban).
•\tSkilled in backend technologies like Spring, JPA and webservices (REST/SOAP).
•\tYou have experience with Java, Spring and Hibernate.
•\tYou have experience with databases and SQL.
•\tExperience with development of REST-based APIs.
•\tKnowledge of Git, Jenkins, Maven, IntelliJ, Splunk.
