BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.Minimum 5 years financial analyst work experience.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Business or AccountingFinancial experience working in a manufacturing environmentAbility to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral formStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsSelf-starterExperience with querying databasesExcellent analytical skillsExperience with cost accountingCollaboration, Interaction, and Communication with Business Partner employee experience preferredAbility to meet critical and tight deadlinesCompliance element experience specifically within an internal control environmentMonitoring and interpreting financial results experienceAbility to forecast and present data to upper-level managementResponsible for daily financial analysis to support Manufacturing, Operations, and Management decisions that will support the segment in reaching its financial goals. Work with Segment Controller and business partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory and accounting guidelines under the supervision of the Controller.Assist in reviewing the monthly balance sheet and profit-and-loss statementsAssist with monthly closing and production of financial statements to guarantee timely reportingReview financial statements to ensure that the information reported properly reflects the company’s financial positionAssist with budget preparation and income forecastingAccumulate data for the preparation of the monthly financial review with corporate financeAssist with daily reporting to corporate financeEnsure compliance to financial aspects of internal controlsPrepare, verify, and control the entering of journal entries to the general ledgerUnderstand manufacturing variances and speak with management providing direction for process changesSupport sales teams in maintaining the quote management system and quote process. Perform internal control testing Prepare and understand cost models and translate to financial statement impactManage and control discretionary spendPerform job duties in a safe and efficient mannerPerform other work-related duties as necessaryComplies with all Environmental Health & Safety rules.
