Senior Quality Data Analyst

The Quality Data Analyst role offers global exposure within NI and to our customers and enables the Quality Team to be Best in Class in reaching business goals and objectives by driving effectiveness and efficiencies through actionable improvements to product quality and customer experience!

 

The Quality Data Analyst will play a critical role in refining data analysis processes, developing foundational datasets and metrics, and ensuring our data infrastructure supports robust analytical capabilities!

 

This role will report to the Global Quality Department and will be engaged extensively with the Business Units, Global Services, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure that customers’ expectations are met.

 


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Building effective partnerships with customers and team members Developing a deep understanding of business strategies, processes, and operations and the resulting data Developing scalable data / reporting / analytics solutions  Extracting, redefining, and analyzing large sets of data Create more scalable analytic data sources that enable functional analysts to create self-service solutions​  Develop, monitor, and present key internal metrics  Provide regular communication to collaborators and customers through formal communication plans to assure clarity on status, next steps, and resolution of issues. 

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

A Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Data Analytics or Information Management preferred; Master’s is a plus. 5+ years of direct experience in analytics, reporting and data transformation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  Proven ability to work with and analyze large disparate data sets using statistical and data mining techniques. Excellent SQL skills; demonstrated knowledge of relational databases. Experience with business intelligence tools – Power BI; Tableau, Etc. Knowledge of Snowflake warehousing Platform is a plus. Development experience with data manipulation tools is a plus Excellent communication skills  Ability to lead and drive issue management  Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Proactively propose creative ideas to apply analytics to business problems.  Drive innovations and efficiency by implementing scalable analytics solutions Leverage cutting edge and traditional business intelligence tools to develop scalable insight solutions Perform data engineering type of tasks including acquisition, transformation, and enhancements from multiple sources, profile data, and create scalable, reusable data sets in support of analytical and reporting needs
