Senior Product Manager (Tech), Prime Video Commerce

Prime Video is looking for a product leader to own and drive the strategy for Prime Video Commerce. Commerce serves as the shop-window for all the ways customers can watch Prime Video content and is fundamental lever for business growth. In this role, you will own defining and executing a customer-centric product vision, working backwards from a clear North Star, while driving incremental growth for the Prime Video business. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and has the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The right candidate leads by doing and has a passion for solving problems at massive scale. You excel through innovation, creativity, and attention to detail. You are a collaborator who flourishes in a large organization. You have experience working directly with software engineers to deliver customer-facing technology products. You are technically savvy and can weigh in on the pros and cons of a technology choice while providing your opinion on trade-offs. You will practice a high degree of judgement based on data and a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms. You are comfortable presenting your point of view to influence stakeholders and senior leadership. You have a consistent track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Key job responsibilities - Develop and execute a long-term strategy for Prime Video Commerce experiences - Work cross-functionally, including with Marketing, Legal and UX, to align on and achieve objectives - Implement customer-facing solutions with software engineering teams - Lead roadmap planning and drive execution of your products A day in the life - You will work with Product, Engineering, UX, and Business teams from initiation to deployment and will be responsible for delivering best-in-class experiences to customers - You will demonstrate proficiency in addressing partner, customer and business needs - You must have strong business judgment, customer obsession, and be technical. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategy, but can also roll up your sleeves and get the job done. - You will deliver recommendations to executives and drive alignment across levels, functions, and organizations Basic Qualifications - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning - Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering - Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience with end to end product delivery - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent Preferred Qualifications - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - MBA Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
