Senior Product Development Engineer Job Description **What is the job about?** This role is critical role of digital product define & design. He or she will be the laison between product owner and product development team. Be able to transfer the digital product market requirements, digital product roadmap to product development requirements and development deliveries. He or she should have strong business sense on understand business application of digital products, like asset monitoring and diagnostics, energy optimization, water system solutions. Support and promote company’s strategy on digital transformation. These roles require a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment **Your main responsibilities:** + Lead and participate in the entire systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system architecture design, development, integration, testing, and deployment. + PLC/HMI Design: Designing and programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. + Control Algorithms: Creating control algorithms and testing systems to ensure they meet functional requirements. + Developing algorithms for different pump related applications, eg cooling, water treatment… + Develop and document system architectures, block diagrams, and interface specifications to guide the implementation and integration of hardware and software components. + Coordinate with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems and components, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development process. + Creating a test environment for evaluating robustness of algorithm. + System Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and safety. + Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues in control systems and equipment. + Validating simulation models using experimental prototype testing and collected data from the field. + Implementing and perform field test **Your background:** **We imagine that you have:** + Bachelor’s or above degree in Electronics Engineering or similar is required, as well as great communication and collaboration skills. + 8+ years’ experience with design of PLC, Soft PLC, control cabinet + Preferably experience with electronic design for embedded systems for VFD products or power electronics, test of electronics, validation and documentation of the design. + Application Experience / Knowledge about Cooling, Water treatment, Water Booster System + Understand how to set-up hardware specification. + As a person you are innovative, fact-based, quality and results-oriented, open-minded and can interact with others, across borders and cultures. + Knowledge: + Professional certifications in systems engineering + Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent **We look forward to hearing from you.** Information at a Glance **Job Details** Workplace: Onsite Position Job Location: Shanghai, Shanghai, China Contract Type: Full-Time Employment Type: Regular
