As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the Mechanical design of metering systems from initial conception through construction, final testing, and through life support. Ensuring the design is per contract and customer specifications, national and international standards, and sound engineering practices.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Lead Mechanical Engineer and assists the Project Manager in project interfaces and resolving technical clarification with Customers. Leads meetings with Customers and End-Users. Front facing member to the Customers during project execution phases for technical matter. Review contract documents, project specifications, evaluate project risks and ensure technical compliance to Customer’s requirements and Industry Codes and Standards. Perform engineering design, calculations and drawings in accordance with project specifications and requirements. Preparation of project documents for submission according to schedule in project Vendor Document Register List. Evaluate quotes from vendors to ensure compliance to project specifications. Review of documentation from vendors to ensure compliance to project requirements. Work closely with Project Manager and project team members on skid fabrication works. Responsible for receipt and review of all applicable equipment test certificates, instruction manuals and hand over to Document Controller for compilation of final documentation. A critical member of the project execution team who leads and follow-through the complete project life cycle from bidding stage to site commissioning and warranty period Advises and lends technical expertise to Sales & Proposal team during pursuit of new project. Conduct FAT with Customers, Third Party Inspectors and Client’s Representatives. Provides after-sales and warranty supports to Customers and End-Users. Coach and provide guidance to Engineers and Designers. Able to work on multiple projects efficiently, prioritize the task based on project delivery schedule. Good personality, interpersonal savvy, communication skills, self-motivated. Customer focused and result driven. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Conversant with ASME, ANSI, ASTM, API, NACE, BPVC, Piping codes, Oil & Gas International Code and Standard.
