Your New Role…

As a Senior International Ad Sales Manager, you will lead on developing high value advertising partnerships across streaming, digital, social and linear across verticals including entertainment and critically - sports. 

This role requires a commercially minded media professional with a preferred knowledge in sports marketing and sponsorship, capable of delivering impactful brand partnerships that resonate with global audiences. You will be central to cultivating new business, deepening client relationships, and driving revenue across international markets through creative and insight-driven campaigns that harness the passion and scale of WBD.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Revenue Growth & Client Development

Generate and exceed revenue targets (target $4M+ p.a.) across the WBD portfolio, focusing on international clients with business born out of the UK, Nordics, and Netherlands.Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities with clients and media agencies responsible for International, Pan-Regional, or Multi-Local budgets.Build strategic, long-term partnerships across platforms including streaming, digital, social, and broadcast.Deliver client-first, insight-led solutions that align with marketing goals and KPIs.Lead the development of high-impact brand partnerships rooted in WBD content pillars - entertainment and particularly sports content, rights, events, and sponsorship.

Strategic & Campaign Management

Translate client briefs into compelling cross-platform proposals, that leverage WBD’s premium brands (i.e Eurosport, TNT Sports, Bleacher Report, HBO Max), with our Rights (i.e Olympic Games, Tour De France), and content (Scripted and Unscripted i.e HBO Max Originals) working closely with teams in Creative, Research, and Brand Solutions.Oversee campaign execution, ensuring delivery, performance analysis, and client satisfaction.Leverage market trends and audience insights to develop relevant, innovative brand campaigns

Internal Collaboration & Leadership

Partner across WBD departments and regions to develop and scale cross divisional opportunities.Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.Occasionally participate in strategic ‘growth’ projects with the Group VP and leadership team to evolve WBD’s proposition in a competitive media landscape.

External Representation

Act as a senior commercial lead in the market, developing and maintaining high level relationships with key decision makers at client and agency level.Deliver confident, tailored presentations that clearly communicate WBD’s value proposition and commercial potential.Serve as a credible voice in conversations around entertainment, lifestyle, and particularly sports media solutions.Educate partners on trends in sports sponsorship, fan behaviour, and content distribution across digital, social and linear environments.

Qualifications & Experience…

Media sales experience, with a strong track record of driving revenue across linear, streaming, digital, social, and branded content.Experience working with international clients and/or agencies on multi-market deals.Proven ability to structure, negotiate, and close large-scale global advertising partnerships.Comfort working with brands that align with fan engagement, live events, or content-driven storytelling.Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.Confident handling senior stakeholder relationships and complex proposals.Creative thinker with a deep understanding of how brands can authentically connect with entertainment and sports fans.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
