Senior Manager, Business Operations

The Senior Manager, Business Operations is responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence. **What you'll be doing** **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Leadership skills with creative and financial acumen coupled with strong business intellect necessary for taking the business to the next level. + Extended ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. + Ability to inspire and move a cross-functional team towards a unified direction with a common vision. + Extended business acumen, financial expertise, and strategic planning skills. + Extended knowledge of big data analysis and performance/operation metrics. + Extended understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc. + Lead a variety of projects, improvement- and alignment efforts across DC Operations. Focus on operational excellence, meeting Client’s SLAs, creating a learning organization and supporting the DC Operations leaders in efficiency and process optimization. + Operate between the lines and functions of the various departments within DC Operations. + Provide reporting on DC Operations KPIs to the relevant stakeholders in NTT GDC and Global NTT. + In order to deliver quality reports on DC Operations KPIs, ensure that we have reliable processes and reporting in place which is delivered on time by the regional and central DC Operations teams. + Support and coordinate the annual budget process for the DC Operations division. + Collaborate with internal counterparts within Finance and HR to kick off monthly reporting structure of the respective departments to DC Operations, which is both consistent and high quality. + Take part in developing the annual strategy and KPIs for DC Ops, as well as the pragmatic follow-up, communication, materials, and reviews against the strategy. + Provide ad hoc management support to the Senior Director, Business Operations. + Supervise support team in the work out of projects, reports, and ad hoc support. + Leads efforts to develop and improve through efficient and effective integrated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organizational resources. + Directs operations review of cost and service structures, productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve planned targets. **KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES** + Knowledge and experience in a technical operations, business administration or project management/coordination field + Fluent English + High resilience, flexibility and a strong sense of loyalty and discretion + Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills + Organizational talent and good priority management + Ability to work in a team and social skills and meetings + Able to prioritize conflicting workload and work to deadlines + Able to work on own initiative + Strong resilience in rapidly changing and expanding organization + Organizational sensitivity and ability to manage a variety of stakeholders + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. + Solution-oriented and pro-active approach for improvement opportunities + Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work + Live and act along the NTT GDC values \#GlobalDataCentersCareers #LI-AR3 **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS** + University degree in business administration or comparable + 5+ years’ industry experience in the data center business or comparable/associated fields + Proficiency in MS Office (MS Power Point, Excel and MS Outlook, in particular) + Very good understanding of processes, structures and reports within a corporate international environment **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** + At least 5 years of professional experience in business administration, project management or a comparable professional field within an operations/critical infrastructure environment + Experienced in managing subject matter experts and smaller teams + Organizational sensitivity working in an international environment + Ability to manage and to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders + Solution-oriented and pro-active approach for improvement opportunities + Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work + Strong analytical, numeric and communication skills **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** + May occasionally move office equipment and other hardware up to 10 kg. + Frequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility / office + Remain stationary for long periods of time. + Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment. + Perform work during EMEA business hours and time zones. **WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS** + Work onsite at a data center or office location. + Exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises. + Exposure to outdoor weather conditions. + Travel required 20% of time. + Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection. This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable. NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $151,400 - $189,300. All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
