About the team
The Global Total Rewards team in creating total rewards programs for the new Worldpay organization. This position will be the subject matter expert and Compensation Consultant for all of APAC countries and will work closely with the local People Team and leaders. Additionally, this role will support corporate initiatives and roll-out of enterprise-wide rewards programs. This role reports into VP, People & Culture APAC and has a dotted line reporting into Global Head of Compensation.
What you will own:
Lead the end-to-end implementation and delivery of compensation and incentive programs across the APAC region, including performance management, job evaluation, pay review cycles, monthly reporting, and salary benchmarking.Ensure all compensation practices are aligned with the global framework and support enterprise-wide consistency.Contribute to global compensation projects and initiatives, bringing regional insights and executional excellence.Participate in salary surveys and analyze market data to maintain competitive compensation structures.Manage and maintain job documentation databases, including job codes and descriptions, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.Create and update job descriptions, and conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate grade levels and titles.Conduct market analyses to identify compensation trends and best practices in key geographic areas.Support HRIS teams with data compilation, analysis, and reporting, particularly within Workday.Collaborate with HR partners to generate reports and insights that inform strategic decisions.Perform hands-on, day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) compensation activities with precision and ownership.Other related duties as assigned.Where you’ll own it
You’ll own it in our modern Bangalore/Pune/Indore hub. With hubs in the heart of city centers and tech capitals, things move fast in APAC.
What you bring:
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in compensation, preferably within the IT or Fintech industry and in a global organization.4+ years of global compensation exposure preferably for APAC, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to evolving business needs.Strong technical compensation skills, including job architecture, benchmarking, and pay structure design.Proficiency in interpreting complex data sets and translating them into compelling, actionable insights and narratives.Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros) and strong command of MS Office tools including Access and Visio.Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.Excellent business partnering capabilities, with strong listening, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Confident, self-directed, and highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across global and cross-functional teams.Worldpay perks - what we’ll bring for you
