Position Summary
In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee the Human Resources function for the Irvine site of Parker Aerospace Group’s Fluid Systems Division, supporting approximately 500 employees across three core business teams: Fuel, Inerting, and Pneumatics. With over $500 million in annual sales, this site also serves as the Division Headquarters, where you will partner closely with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Business Development, Finance, and Engineering.
As a senior HR leader, you will play a critical role in driving strategic HR initiatives that align with business objectives and foster a high-performance culture. This high-visibility position offers significant opportunities to influence organizational effectiveness by building strong relationships, delivering business-driven HR solutions, and positioning HR as a trusted strategic partner.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional with proven leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic business acumen and hands-on HR expertise to engage and support diverse teams, drive talent management, and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the division.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as a strategic business partner to the Site Business Unit Manager and leadership team, delivering targeted leadership development, team training, and individualized coaching to drive organizational performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Lead and mentor the HR team, consisting of two Sr. HR Business Partners and one HR Generalist, ensuring they are equipped, motivated, and aligned to provide exceptional business support and HR services across the site.
+ Provide strategic oversight and leadership for critical HR initiatives spanning the site and the broader division (comprising three locations). Lead programs focused on employee engagement, knowledge transfer, succession planning, leadership development, mentoring, career progression, high-performance teams, and Lean process improvements.
+ Champion and promote change management and HR innovation, proactively introducing forward-thinking HR practices and solutions. Effectively communicate and influence stakeholders to secure buy-in and successfully implement transformational initiatives.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with site and division leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development efforts support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
+ Drive a culture of accountability and results by partnering with leaders to establish clear performance expectations, deliver actionable feedback, and foster employee development aligned with strategic objectives.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, corporate policies, and ethical standards while maintaining a focus on creating an inclusive and equitable workplace environment.
Qualifications
+ Extensive HR Leadership Experience: Minimum of ten years of progressive professional achievements, including eight to ten years in leadership roles managing Human Resources teams. Prior experience supporting a high-volume manufacturing environment is highly preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational and workforce dynamics in industrial settings.
+ Advanced Education and Certifications: Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration (MBA) with an HR emphasis, or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications such as SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) or equivalent are strongly desired. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is required.
+ Proven Leadership and Team Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and lead high-performing HR teams. Skilled in fostering collaboration, driving accountability, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
+ Strong Customer Service and Employee Relations Expertise: Exceptional skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering excellent service to both internal customers (employees and leadership) and external stakeholders.
+ High Ethical Standards and Communication Excellence: Personal integrity and professionalism are paramount. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships across all organizational levels and influence diverse stakeholders effectively.
+ Strategic Business Acumen: Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives, providing insights and solutions that support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and talent optimization.

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California, Massachusetts, New York, Washington. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.
Competitive Compensation
+ Pay Range: $134,798/annually to $235,961/annually; midpoint is $185,379.
+ Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
