Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualificationMin 5 years relevant Electronics Product cost optimization experience.Experience in design tools for Schematic Capture and PCB LayoutExperience in board and system level design verification test.Experience in managing prototype build from BOM creation to build change requests.Candidates with experience in Functional Safety product development with IEC61508 will have an added advantageMain responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising durability, reliability, and performance of components used in our products.Work closely with various departments, including Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure understanding of product optimization goals.Identify inefficiencies and work with team to lead product costs reduction.Experience with manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles.Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with component resiliency, which includes, design modifications, material & supplier selection, and process improvements.Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in component engineering, develop resiliency plans, and work with SSO & Component Engineering to provide a stable and reliable supply of components.Propose, drive, and implement continuous improvement initiatives of RA products.Soft skills
