Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all export control matters within the Nuclear and Gas Power Engineering team.Interpret and apply export control laws and regulations (e.g., EU Dual-Use Regulation, U.S. EAR/ITAR) to engineering projects and technology transfers.Collaborate with engineering, legal, compliance, and supply chain teams to assess and mitigate export control risks.Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of export control requirements across the organization.Maintain and update internal procedures, documentation, and records to ensure audit readiness.Support licensing processes and liaise with regulatory authorities as needed.Monitor changes in export control legislation and assess their impact on business operations.Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, International Trade, Law, Political Science, or a related field.Proven experience in compliance and export control regulations, preferably in the energy, nuclear, or engineering sectors.In-depth knowledge of EU and U.S. export control regulations, including dual-use goods and technology transfer controls.Proven experience in managing export control compliance in a multinational engineering or industrial environment.Familiarity with classification of goods and technologies under EU and U.S. control lists (e.g., ECCN, Annex I of EU Regulation 2021/821).Experience with export licensing processes and working with government authorities or customs agencies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex technical and regulatory scenarios.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.Fluent in English; proficiency in Polish or other European languages is an asset.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.ABOUT US

Engineering Innovation Center (EIC) in Warsaw, Poland is an integral part of the global engineering structure of GE Vernova. The site was officially founded in 2007, as GE Gas Power focused engineering organization. Currently the site extends engineering activities for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy in Poland.
