Job Title: Senior Engineer - Integration Developer (ServiceNow)

As a Senior Engineer - Integration Developer, you'll have a key role in transitioning our platform from a centralized model to a federated operating model. This position requires a visionary who can understand global functional considerations and provide thought leadership for ServiceNow products. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing operational processes and key controls, ensuring successful adoption of the Integration Hub product and its integrations across various enterprise functions like HR, Finance, and Portfolio Management. Accountabilities:In this dynamic role, you will gather requirements, engage with collaborators, and configure/develop solutions in ServiceNow with precision and quality. You'll meet project deadlines while ensuring compliance and quality standards. Your proactive approach will support the organization's growth and expectations. Key responsibilities include supporting debut and hyper-care phases, training new team members, handling incidents, and delivering solutions using an agile-based model. You'll develop integrations with third-party tools and validate technical solutions before deployment. Additionally, you'll implement coding and design according to ServiceNow standards, take part in requirement gathering phases, and analyze technical development requirements.
Essential Skills/Experience:4-5+ years’ experience in ServiceNow (Must) in development and Integration projectsStrong experience in ServiceNow development using most of the ServiceNow tools and features such as Business Rule, Script Include, AJAX, Glide Scripting, Java Scripting, Jelly Scripting, Service Portal, Angular JS, Widgets, Workflow, Catalogue Development, UI Page, UI Scripts, UI Action, Inbound Action, Notifications, REST & SOAP APIs, Workflow Custom ActivitiesITIL Foundation certification (Preferred)Experience working on building integrations that consume external APIs or build APIs for external systems consumptionVarious module Knowledge (ITSM, ITOM, HR, Finance, GRC etc)Ability to learn innovative technology and adopt changing business requirementsStrong customer handling and communication skills (must), ability to collect requirements, translate requirements into technical design (detailed design), development of requirement in ServiceNow, fix any defects, support UATExperience in handling Agile based delivery modelAble to produce high quality workWork with the ServiceNow platform team, senior solution engineers, enterprise architecture, and the wider Product Manager community to find the best solutions for the companyDemonstrated understanding of service management processes, operations, and proceduresSupports Administrators in case of expert help required to solve production issues with the productAbility to word independently or in a team with minimal supervisionDesirable Skills/Experience:Good knowledge in Perl programmingBasic knowledge in PythonStrong and in-depth knowledge in JavaScriptBasic knowledge in Unix-SHELL ScriptingGood knowledge in Power Shell scriptingGood Knowledge in REST/SOAP API’sShould have good knowledge of ServiceNow ScriptingLDAP/Active Directory Knowledge preferredFirsthand development, management, and deployment experience with ServiceNowAstraZeneca offers an environment where innovation thrives.
