Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

As a member of our Cloud Services team reporting to the Cloud Services Manager; you will contribute to our transformation from a monolithic architecture to a microservices architecture. You will support the application tier both in our private and public cloud data centers. You will help improve the reliability and delivery of our product through the use of automation and auto remediation. You will ensure issues are resolved in an efficient and sustainable manner. You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Typically requires 5+ years managing web servers and infrastructure administration experienceProven history building automated solutions that enable resiliency and self-healing of applicationsCapability to analyze packet captures using tools such as WiresharkPublic Cloud experience: Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web ServicesExperience using a variety of open source technologies and cloud services including:Kubernetes supporting enterprise needs: Kubernetes platforms, Docker, SpaceliftInfrastructure/Configuration as code: Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or AnsibleExperience with Operations technologies including the following:Web Servers (IIS 10)Server Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux)Strong Scripting Knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python)Strong understanding of IPv4/IPv6, FTP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, HTML, XMLStrong understanding of application clustering/load balancing technologiesExperience with the following:Knowledge of .Net website functionalityKnowledge of RedisKnowledge of ConsulFamiliarity with monitoring services such as Elastic, PRTG, and DynatraceFamiliarity with Akamai content distribution network or similar servicesFamiliar with OpsGenieFamiliar with Pager Duty Process AutomationLoad balancer experience (F5 LTM, Azure Load Balancer)
