You will play a crucial role in helping customers leverage cloud technologies to achieve its goals efficiently and securely. **Your Day Will Look Like:** + **Cloud Strategy Development** : Develop, implement, and/or maintain a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with customer business objectives. This includes selecting appropriate cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (e.g., private, hybrid). + **Architectural Design:** Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures. Create blueprints and provide technical leadership for the implementation of cloud solutions. + **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Implement Infrastructure as Code principles to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources. Utilise tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. + **Security and Compliance:** Ensure the security of cloud environments by implementing best practices, encryption, identity and access management, and compliance with EC standards and regulations. + **Cost Optimisation:** Develop strategies for optimising cloud costs, monitoring resource usage, and recommending cost-effective solutions. This involves selecting the right financial models and continuously optimising resource allocation. + **Integration and Migration:** Plan and execute the migration of on-premises systems to the cloud. Integrate cloud services with existing infrastructure and IT Systems. + **Collaboration:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation and operation of cloud solutions. + **Performance Monitoring and Optimisation:** Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of cloud services.
