Key Responsibilities:The Global Procurement organization at United Airlines is responsible for procuring goods and services and developing/ maintaining relationships with third-party providers with the objective of reducing total cost and risk to the company while improving levels of quality, service, and technology.
The Senior Buyer – Global Procurement supports United’s Global Procurement team by working directly with key suppliers and distribution partners. This position sources commodities from approved United sources, assists with the setup of new approved sources, participates in the development of sourcing strategies and supply contracts, and implements the “Three bids and a buy” process.
