Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Philippines office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
The GM GBS Finance Migrations Senior Analyst is responsible for implementing migration plans from Business Units (BUs) to Global Business Services (GBS), ensuring timely completion of deliverables and organized task management. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert on GBS process migrations, and analyzing data to identify opportunities while providing sustainable solutions. Must be BA in Finance/Accounting/Business with 6 - 8 years of experience in a shared service environment and 2-4 years of experience in project management and migrations.
What You’ll Do
Serve as project lead in the implementation of migration plans from BU to GBS captive site from Solution Identification, Knowledge Transfer, to Pilot.Attend alignment discussions with senior and executive management on initiation of projectsConsolidate task lists and other relevant information in an organized mannerEnsure participation of needed Operations / BU representatives and escalate any concerns to BU managers or Controller or Transitions SupervisorEnsure deliverables of BUs (documentations, activity lists, approvals, sign-offs) are done on timeCan serve as ‘face of GBS’ for international discussionsDraft tollgate presentations and slides, ability to present project and progress data in a concise and logical fashionConsidered as technical expert in area of transitions and can ensure operations requirements are understood and met by key business partners, team members and stakeholdersFunction as subject matter expert for the GM GBS Transitions Methodology and advocate compliance to updates and refinements in the global GBS transitions strategyAnalyze and interpret data for reporting requirements to management, identify gaps in the process and provide achievable and sustainable solutionsEnsure compliance with GM Corporate policies and other regulatory requirements
