As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you\nwill play a key role in guiding the design and development of complex projects\nwithin the Aerospace industry. You will provide technical expertise and\nguidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of\nprojects. You will also be accountable for conducting feasibility studies,\nanalyzing technical requirements, and implementing project management\nstrategies and best practices. You will report directly to our Engineering\nProgram Manager, and you will work out of our Torrance, CA location on a hybrid\nwork schedule. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the execution\n and oversight of long-term electric drive systems motor controller\n engineering projects. Ensures that program milestones are tracked and\n schedules are met on-time and on-budget.
Performs control account\n management (CAM) activities for assigned projects or relevant subproject\n segments. Plans, estimates, and schedules engineering work.
Collects and presents earned\n value tracking status for assigned projects. Manages project resources and\n compiles cumulative project Schedule Performance Index and Cost\n Performance Index (SPI/CPI) status.
Presents monthly program reviews\n and reports highlights/challenges status to director level manager.
Requests resources for\n electrical circuit design, and electrical systems engineering to match\n project man-loading levels.
Strong project management skills\n including scheduling with Microsoft Project or equivalent system is\n preferred. Creates and presents PowerPoint charts\n for status.
Familiar with\n a variety of project engineering concepts, practices, and procedures such\n as Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Control Account Management (CAM),\n Earned Value Management and Reporting, and engineering cost estimation.

The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 -\n$176,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general\nguideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,\nincluding but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,\nthe candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as\nmarket and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a\ntechnical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or\nmathematics
• 7+ years of experience in project engineering or systems\nengineering
• Project engineering experience estimating,\nplanning, scheduling, and implementing budget control for engineering work.
