Your New Role

The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting will be a part of the team responsible for performing the global consolidation and financial reporting of the Company, facilitating the close of the accounting books, and generating financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, and compiling information for other governmental reporting requests

Your Role Accountabilities

Prepares and compiles information for various global governmental survey requests, including but not limited to financial data and legal entity details.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the accurate and timely reporting of information to global governmental agencies.Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience and a strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), IFRS, and SOX requirementsExperience with the preparation of financial statementsExperience with the preparation of ad-hoc information requests from governmental agenciesBS/BA in related discipline from an accredited universityCPA license (or equivalent) attained or progress toward attainment.Proficient in EnglishDetailed-oriented with a strong desire to meet deadlines and other relevant performance metrics.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail, accuracy and strong organizational skills.Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.Mental agility to prioritize and execute independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent work habits, including initiative, independent problem-solving abilities and ownership of work product.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Big 4 / Public accounting backgroundExperience with the financial reporting of an SEC registrantExperience working directly with external auditors and/or governmental representatives to resolve accounting and reporting issuesOracle, Peoplesoft, SAP
