Job Title: Senior .NET Developer with ETL & Data Engineering

Total Experience: 7 to 10 years

Relevant Experience: 7 to 10 years

Location: Pune, Kharadi

Work Mode: WFO (3 days mandatory on-site)

 

Key Responsibilities:

ETL & Data Engineering: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes for large-scale data migrations and archival within the banking domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is correctly transformed and migrated to target systems. .NET Development: Develop, optimize, and maintain backend applications using .NET (C#, MVC, Entity Framework), ensuring smooth integration with various systems. PowerShell Scripting: Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation of tasks, deployment, and maintenance activities. Control-M: Manage and schedule batch jobs for ETL processes using Control-M scheduling tool. Data Pipeline Optimization: Work on optimizing data pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate data movement and transformation. Data Migration & Archival: Lead the effort in handling large-scale data migrations and archival, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Provide support for troubleshooting ETL and data pipeline issues and resolve them efficiently. Code Quality & Documentation: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while adhering to best practices. Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes, code, and configurations.

Mandatory Skills:

.NET Framework (C#, MVC, Entity Framework) ETL Development and experience with Data Engineering Strong understanding of Data Migration and Archival PowerShell scripting for automation and task management Experience with Control-M for scheduling and job management Ability to handle large-scale data integration projects

Desired Skills:

Banking Domain Experience: Prior experience working in the banking or financial services domain. Azure Data Engineering or cloud technologies (preferable but not mandatory) Experience with Data Warehousing concepts or tools SQL expertise for data manipulation and reporting Experience working with contractors, especially ex-CS contractors, would be an advantage
