Security Sales Account Executive - Identity and SSE Incubation
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Sales Account Executive Seller to join our dynamic sales team. As an Identity and SSE Seller, you will play a crucial role in driving our Identity and SSE solutions to market and achieving sales targets.
What You'll Do
As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role on a team that operates like a start-up with unique access to Cisco’s resources, industry leadership, and scale.
Incubation is a team within the Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) that is responsible for selling new Cisco Security products to early adopters and helping prepare for broader global distribution of the product.
Cisco Security is consistently launching innovative products in the market. These new products help Cisco's customers adopt a more effective defense against the world's most sophisticated cyber threats.
The two products you will be responsible for in this role is Duo and Secure Access. This requires a solid understanding of customer value drivers related to Identity security and Secure Service Edge.
You will apply a hunting mentality to generate pipeline and revenue for these products with a thoughtful go-to-market strategy for new and existing Cisco Security customers across an assigned territory.
Minimum Requirements:
7+ years selling cybersecurity software solutions for cloud-native applications 5+ years experience with leading customer conversations with an understanding of business value drivers, platform architectures, and the underlying infrastructure (whether on-prem, cloud, multi-cloud, or hybrid) 5+ years experience with effectively using listening, presentation, and writing skills to drive action with customers, partners, and internal teams Ability to travel

Responsibilities:
Drive new business development efforts by identifying, prospecting, and closing deals for our Identity and SSE solutions. Collaborate closely with the broader Cisco sales teams, as well as marketing and technical teams, to understand customer needs and develop tailored sales strategies. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including C-level executives, CISOs, SOC Directors, and partners. Conduct meetings, workshops, and presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of our Identity and SSE solutions. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively articulate our unique selling proposition.
Key Skills:
Proven track record in selling complex cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on Security Operations technology for detection and response. Proven background working with Security Operations Centres Proven track record of working with a SaaS based sales methodology around MEDDPICC Proven track record of working in a channel led sales model. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to build and nurture customer relationships, and a consultative approach to selling. Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets. Start-up mentality. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
