\nThe Security Officers, is concerned with the efficient and professional service of Security, while ensuring the Safety and Security in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the Conrad hotel and Hilton Group.

What will I be doing?
\nAs the Security Officer, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nTo actively participate in the day to day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, employees and property.\nTo patrol the interior and exterior of the hotel and confront any situations or persons that require investigation.\nTo handle and document guest and employee accidents, valuable left unattended in room or other areas, noise complaints, and prostitutes.\nTo assist any guests with friendly, warm, attentive and tactful service.\nTo implement all policies, procedures, instructions regarding security and safety.\nTo assist in implementing preventive safety and security programs.\nTo investigate crimes committed against the hotel, guests, and employees.\nTo document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities and insurance requirements.\nTo assist hotel staff in handling of unusual guest or employee problems, such as, but not limited to, disorderly conduct, thefts, suicides, bomb threats, employee or guest accidents, fire or safety hazards, robberies, terrorist activities, civil disturbance, power or elevator failures, medical assistance and natural disasters.\nTo remain informed of current and amended laws, employee’s handbook, job description, fire and evacuation procedure, lost and found procedure, joiner procedure, and all new policies and procedures which may be issued from time to time by the management.\nTo take an active role in the implementation of the hotel's fire plan including the Fire Command Center, all technical equipment and the roles each employee/fire warden plays.\nTo assist in training all new security officers in the On-Line Training program.\nTo control the keys, lock system, alarm system, and fire protection system.\nTo make recommendations to the superiors in security related matters.\nTo respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.\nTo maintain self-discipline according to the requirements of the hotel’s and department’s standards.\nTo work an extended shift, with days off and vacations cancelled in the event of an emergency.\nTo observe grooming policy as laid out in the employee’s handbook, as well as those set out by the Director of Security.\nTo cooperate with superiors and fellow officers during the tour of duty to enhance better team-work.\nTo cooperate efficiently with all departments within the hotel directly or indirectly involved with the Security Department.\nTo be positive and punctual when attending daily briefings or meetings in order to carry out job to specification.\nTo perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.\nHave a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both customers and colleagues.\nContribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational / environmental procedures in the hotel.\nPerform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that ensures your safety and that of others in your workplace.\nDisplay professional behaviour at all times.\nReport any accidents / incidents to the Supervisor / Assistant Manager / Manager.\nCarry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nThe Management reserves the right to make changes to this job description at its sole discretion and without advance notice.\nWhat are we looking for?
