We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer working the **evening shift/and weekends (4:00 pm - Midnight)** to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. **This shift includes an additional hourly incentive of $1.25.** VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position. This role will be on site at the Corteva location. **What You’ll Do:** + Maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. + Patrol premises regularly to ensure order and establish a security presence. + Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people. + Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. + Provide traffic control and other services for special events/functions as assigned. + Prepare written time log and accident/incident reports. + Respond to all campus emergency calls. + Report in detail any suspicious incidents or unusual occurrences. + Operate surveillance systems and security equipment. + Provide assistance to people in need and ensure compliance with company policies. + Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary. + Always provide and promote safety. Attend, participate, and complete all required safety programs. **Education:** + You have your High School Diploma or GED. **What Skills You Need:** + You are willing and able to work in different environments from extreme cold to extreme hot, walk long distances and be mobile for an eight-hour period.
