Your role and responsibilitiesThis role is contributing to the Process Automation, Measurement and Analytical Division, Sales in Egypt, North & Central of Africa.By Living ABB’s core values of ethics, Health, safety and integrity in light of ABB Code of conduct, which means not only taking responsibility for your own actions but also caring for your colleagues and the business.You will be mainly accountable for:• Managing customer relations through the entire life cycle of their business model starting from early solution conceptualization through sales to execution followed by all kinds of basic and advanced after sales support through Service Team.• Creating, planning, and implementing the sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with the local and global strategy & Ensuring efficient marketing communications.• Identifying and pursing new sales opportunities, maintaining the relationship with the existing customers and channels and develop new accounts based on division segmentation strategy based on at least 60% of his time outdoor at customers & 40% Indoor.• Achieving the sales targets that include order volume and order gross margin. For assigned product groups Instrumentation & Process Analyzers, Managing sales costs within budget, Establishing sales and portfolio mix targets throughout the organization and taking corrective actions when needed. • Managing the mix of orders to ensure that assigned sectors and relevant Product Groups / portfolios are adequately covered. This includes attention to the growth of the service and indirect Sales channels business.• Reporting & maintaining the sales forecast for assigned Product Groups in regular basis and update the sales pipeline within Salesforce.• Sales Channels & Channel partner management and business plan with channel partners. And develop a new channel to markets assigned. • Develop advanced Product Knowledge in Instrumentation and analytical an being able to explain the main benefits and application to customers by completing assigned development plan of on job, elearnings & relevant class rooms.• Market analysis monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt our the sales strategy based on the market requirements• Leading Negotiations for terms of sales agreement and closing deals. • Regular communication with Inside Sales Team to agree the offering strategy based on gather Sales Information.• Insuring compliance to Sales guidelines & Sales Policies across Sales Cycle using relevant ABB Sales tools Salesforce, Third Party Management Tools, Risk Reviews & bid screening tools, ….etc.• Developing highest level of customer satisfaction across Complete Sales Cycle & Handling customer feedbacks through Net Promoter Score (NPS).• Helping customers in driving efficiency and sustainability, making a strong impact that help customers overcome their business challenges • Enjoying a supportive and solution driven team environment
Qualifications for the roleEngineering bachelor’s degree (5 Years), Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics ,communication, or mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineering background is Plus.)Fluency in English & Arabic language is a MUST “Listening, Speaking & Writing”, French language is plus5 Years’ Plus experience of :Process know-how (Oil, Gas, refineries, Petrochemicals , Water & Waste Water Quality monitoring system and Power Generation SWAS Applications, Environmental Monitoring Applications)Field Instrumentation (mainly Flow, Pressure, Temperature and Level)Industrial Process Application(s) mainly Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Process Analytics (mainly continuous gas analysis & Gas Chromatography & FTIR Solutions)Basic knowledge about Control System / Communication protocols /etcSales Communication skills
