The SDM actively drives Sales Development for the Business Unit in cooperation with the Sales Teams and BU Organization.
In the role technical and commercial expertise come toghether with strategic initiatives and enable the SDM to support our business.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Sales Development - In Area of responsiblity (Products, Regions, Target accounts…) and following the overall company strategy develop and execute customer strategies together with Sales.; Value Selling - Support Development, Sharing and Application of Value Selling materials and tools. Including creating value propositions for products and solutions together with PAE and PMM. (technical and commercial); Price Evaluation - For target accounts, and as a backup for the Pricing Specialist, perform price evaluations (special pricing evaluation and approval). Document Approvals according to process.; Train & Share - Work with Sales to share BU related topics - Training together with PAE or PMM on technical and commercial topics. (Support Sales Meetings, Technology Days, …). PDP Support - Support Front End and Launch activities according to PDP as defined in projects. This is mainly about voice of the customer activities and market introduction of new products in alignment with the PMM team. Background & SkillsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills.
