The GTE Sales & Commercial Learning & Development (L&D) Program Leader is responsible for identifying and executing the learning & development strategy to support the GTE Sales, Commercial and Application Engineer (Inquire-To-Order “ITO”) business, systems and tools to drive the overall development of sales and commercial talent across the GTE business segment.

As a Sales & Commercial Learning & Development  Program Leader, you will be responisble for:

Working closely with ITO Business Leaders to identify the right L&D strategy, and translate business needs into effective communication and project plan.Leading ad hoc business initiatives as needed, including designing the content and managing the procurement process for vendor partnerships.Partnering with IET Sales & Commercial Learning team and HR teams to implement development interventions that increase the capabilities of world-class sales and commercial talent.Designing and project-leading the GTE Sales & Commercial “ITO ACADEMY” including competency-model and skill-based mapping for the overall population (>420 people), ad hock skill-up programs to “build” competences, learning paths and learning repository for all the 3 job familiesSupporting IET Sales & Commercial Learning team  and Business Leaders as needed with key activities for the ASPIRE Sales & Commercial program, such as recruiting, roundtables, development, etc.Identifying, integrating and/or unifying the various systems for sales and commercial competencies, skills, curriculum, and learning programs across the 3 job families (sales, commercial, application engineer), ensuring alignment with IET and BH technologies and initiatives.Evaluating training effectiveness and providing recommendations for improvements to the development and learning process.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Sales Operations.Have previous solid experience (10+ years) in leading programs across complex global and cross-functional organizationsDemonstrate success with large-scale training program design, implementation and evaluation, prefer experience in competency-based business model.Have extensive project management skills with the ability to document, plan, market, and execute multiple programs at one time.Have excellent communication skills working internally and externally across multiple levels, disciplines, and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver messages effectively verbally and in writing.Have the ability to gain and drive engagement with leadership and wider business and establish a trust partnership with senior sponsors and IET/BH key stakeholdersHave the ability to motivate others and foster teamwork.Have experience in the commercial & sales function - preffered.Have experience with Workday competence/skills module and integration project - preffered.Have experience with SumTotal or similar enterprise learning management systems preffered.
