This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.
What You’ll Do:
Help implement Safety programs, including developing exciting, fresh, and engaging training content.Ensure that the safety practices at the site are adequate and applied to achieve safety performance goals.Provide coaching for safety related tasks and activities.Assist, conduct and document investigations of incidents and ensure follow up actions to prevent re-occurrences are addressed.Perform audits and self-assessments on safety standards and programs, including safe work permit reviews, isolation of energy reviews, elevated work reviews, etc.Conduct safety walks to ensure that safety standards and safe work practices are being followed through observation and interaction. Assist in correcting any issues that are identified.Assist with inventory and ordering PPE and other safety supplies.Support New Employee Orientation, safety training and contractor safety onboarding processes.Other duties as assigned.Education:
You have your High School Diploma/GED.What Skills You Need:
You value safety and always take care to follow safety rules and procedures.You are willing and able to work in environments that include: climbing stairs/ladders and working at heights, standing or walking for extended periods of time, frequent bending and reaching, working outdoors and in inclement weather.You have experience and proven proficiency in computer systems and programs including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and tend to pick up quickly on new software.You tend to build rapport quickly and are easily able to gain trust and establish credibility.You have experience implementing and coaching on safety programs, policies, and procedures.This position primarily works a daytime schedule with overtime and weekends as needed to support production needs.What Makes You Stand Out:
