Rotating Equipment Technical Advisor

Role Summary:

Rotating equipment technical advisor is a focal point in supporting rotating equipment deputy manager in keeping rotating equipment fleet available for operation, reliable, and, in safe condition. The equipment includes pumps, air compressors, gas turbine, and HVAC

His primary responsibility includes material management, CTR processing and follow up, documentation facilitation, and vendor interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the RE Facilitator for site BOC and ROO RE teams.Support the development and execution of Planned Maintenance Routines (PMRs).Provide ongoing technical support for RE across the ROO fields.Lead weekly RE maintenance meetings with BOC and RE contractors, documenting actions and outcomes.Coordinate technical evaluation of spare parts with the materials & BOC team.Engage with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on technical queries and spare part support.Carry out spare parts inventory optimization exercises.Initiate and coordinate with the Local Market Supply team for the urgent local available items.Follow up with material team leader RE requestions.Support the RE team by providing data/documentation for Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).Monitor RE contracts health and manage warranty processes.Assist in preparing OPEX & CAPEX budgets related to RE.Provide support for Spares MSA (Master Supply Agreement) contract management.Assist BOC in setting up RE workshop requirements, including tooling and lifting equipment.Support OEM training and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).Coordinate RE CTRs (Cost Time Resources) issued to RE contractors to do specific jobs.Support project teams in cataloguing RE spares and addressing RSM actions, particularly for small projects and major projects tasks which are related to Rotating Equipment.Collaborate with maintenance readiness and material teams to develop RE spares cataloguing and strategies.

Key Skills Required:

English language fluency.Skilled user of MAXIMO.Skilled user of Word, EXCEL, Power point and MS Outlook.Able to communicate with multi disciplines and cultures.Has worked as a maintenance engineer for more than 5 years.

Able to read engineering drawing (equipment cross section, Pid, PFD, data sheet,…..)
