Here's your chance to work as part of a dynamic and challenging engineering team on the latest semiconductor technology within the Advanced Technology Development team.
The ATD team creates world-class manufacturing technologies by:
+ Developing new process platforms with step-function improvements in performance and cost
+ Extending roadmap process technologies with new features, models and reduced costs
+ Creating innovative, breakthrough technologies for new markets and new products
**Responsibilities:**
+ Partnering with technologists to ensure robust characterization solutions are available for critical technology and component RF FoMs
+ Defining RF test structures, test solutions, and new test capabilities to enable accurate and robust RF characterization data for technology assessment and SPICE Models
+ Partnering with design teams to align critical circuit RF FoM specifications to RF characterization data and SPICE model simulations
+ Driving RF best practices & methodologies for optimal RF test structure design and characterization methods to ensure a high-performance standard
+ Characterizing active and passive RF components across a wide range of process, bias, temperature, and frequency
+ Building infrastructure to enable efficient RF characterization to support rapid learning cycle technology development

**Minimum requirements:**
+ Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics or related
+ Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA
**Preferred qualifications:**
The ideal candidate will have expertise in RF fundamentals, experience with RF characterization methods, tools, and equipment, understanding of semiconductor device physics, and programming experience. Additionally, development of RF characterization systems and RF model-loop closure methodologies and a working knowledge of SPICE models for RF components are desired.
Experience and proficiency in the following areas is also preferred: basic programming experience with MATLAB **_,_** LabView, C, and Unix Shell; and an aptitude for running various software scripts and utilities.
+ PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics or related
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
+ Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
+ Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
+ Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role
+ Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
+ Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
