We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Benefits Leader to reinforce our Global Benefits Strategy within the Latin America region. This role will report to the Senior Director, International Benefits and will be pivotal in providing local support and expertise to People Partners and local leadership. This role can be based in Mexico or Colombia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Collaborate with Mercer-Marsh Benefits consultants and brokers to manage benefit plans across Latin America, ensuring alignment with global directives.Conduct benchmarking to identify issues, develop solutions, and assess local trends and changes in benefits legislation.Oversee annual renewals by coordinating with consultants, brokers, and local finance teams to adjust plan design elements and eligibility criteria.Support the rollout of global well-being strategies and initiatives, working closely with local HR to enhance employee benefits and well-being programs.Ensure effective administration of benefits operations, including process documentation, invoice processing, and employee support services.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree.At least 10 years of strong and relevant professional experience within Rewards: Benefits, compensation or related HR role.Experienced in working in a matrix structure preferable in multinational organizations Outstanding communication skills both in Spanish and English.Intellectually curious, seeking opportunities to develop new skills for themselves and others.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.Passion for delivering excellence through working in partnership with others, including cross-function and cross-geography teams.Discipline to work both individually as well as collaboratively across a teamAdvanced proficiency with Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse and global stakeholders globally.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability to different cultural contexts.What makes you stand out:
