Overview Job Title: R&D Senior Manager Employer: PepsiCo, Inc. Location: 7701 Legacy Drive, Plano, Texas, 75024 Responsibilities Duties: Function as Digital Product Manager for digital formulation in FoodChainID. Design, develop, and deliver the digital capability and functionality roadmap to run formulation in collaboration with the Director of Digital Transformation, the product owner for TeamCenter, and in consultation with senior leaders in Foods and TDC compliance disciplines.Lead the implementation of a new Product Lifecycle Management system, working closely with the R&D Technical Insights, Digital Solutions & Compliance (TDC) organization, IT, and the Beverages category. Design the business processes and data management strategy for PLM and consider the change leadership to bring this in successfully. Write Formulation system user requirements and stories with clear acceptance criteria as well as user acceptance testing scripts and execution (user will be Product Developers). Serve as a change agent and champion for this transformation, engaging product developers, and key cross-functional business partners. Ensure delivery of benefits of speed and cost reduction are realized year-on-year through the implementation of PLM. Telecommuting permitted 30%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo, Inc. office in Plano, TX. #LI-DNI Qualifications Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Food Science and eight (8) years of experience in delivering innovation, brand stewardship, digital applications and processes, with an emphasis on design, development and deployment OR a Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and ten (10) years of experience in delivering innovation, brand stewardship, digital applications and processes, with an emphasis on design, development and deployment. Must have eight (8) years of experience (or 10 with Bachelor’s) in: Deep knowledge of Food & Beverages CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) R&D business processes; Application of systems-thinking mindset; Food & Beverages CPG experience across innovation, brand stewardship, sustainability, and productivity programming and how that intersects with R&D business processes; Demonstrated experience in Product Lifecycle Management or spec management systems and their associated R&D business processes; and Knowledge of design processes, Design thinking and Co-Creation models for new product development. Must have four (4) years of experience managing and mentoring a broad team of diverse SMEs in multiple regions across Foods in a Fortune 500, multinational company. 20% Domestic & International travel required.
