NI is Emerson's Test and Measurement (T&M) Business Unit. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Define, develop and maintain tools in Python + Implement and follow standard processes for DevOps operations + Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions to support automated testing environments. + Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software build, test, and deployment processes. + Maintain, improve or implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance + Collaborate on hardware and infrastructure integration, including planning and setup of new environments + Apply JavaScript and TypeScript for debugging and maintaining web applications. + Work and interact with colleagues from other divisions such as R&D, manufacturing, or other business groups with global teams (e.g. USA, India) + Participate in incident response efforts, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences. + Note this is primarily an on-site role but with some flexibility to work from home 1 day per week. **Who You Are:** You demonstrate strong initiative in challenging situations and excel at recognizing and acting on opportunities. Your communication is adaptable, aligning content and style to suit various audiences, and you adjust quickly to changing circumstances. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + B.S. or M.S. in computer science, and/or computer engineering, and/or electrical engineering + Proficiency in Python + Proficient in programming with a solid grasp of data structures and object-oriented principles + Familiarity with Git and other version control systems + Experience with computer architecture and operating systems (Linux, Windows) + Experience with coding and scripting to automate manual processes and manage source code + Experience in full-stack web development + Can clearly and concisely communicate in English, particularly in technical conversations. + Understanding of Database concepts and technologies (e.g. NoSQL vs SQL, MongoDB) **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Experience with automated testing + Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. Proxmox) + Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies + Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher) + Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Salt) + Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., VLAN, DHCP, DNS) and network debugging + Knowledge of Azure DevOps and pipelines + Familiarity with electronic engineering concepts + Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) **Our Culture & Commitment to You** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
