You will also have access to our R&D Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation. **About the role** R&D Product Delivery & Maintenance (PDM) plays a key role in the business, protecting net revenue by quickly adapting to changing supply chains and regulatory environments. You’ll love it because every day presents new challenges and opportunities. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, delivering in both the short and long term for the brand. You will have the opportunity to stretch our scientific capabilities and deepen our technical expertise, innovating and bringing our products to life in tangible ways. As an Assistant you will support the team and Technical Project Leads on Supply/Compliance projects with the primary role of data generation as well as technical document authoring. You will actively contribute to driving our culture of continuous improvement, being empowered to make change. This role will focus on executing R&D activities required to deliver the implementation of projects such as raw material changes, process improvements, manufacturing site changes, analytical method development, product resilience initiatives, compliance to regulatory changes. **Closing Date 10th June 2025** **If we have sufficient applicants prior to the date above, the listing will be closed. We recommend applying as soon as possible.** **Your responsibilities** + Take ownership of tasks assigned to you within projects and provide accurate technical support to deliver on time, within budget, and to the appropriate project success criteria. + Ensure all required technical work is completed to a high quality according to the required standards (individually or under leadership). Working within analytical/formulation labs and/or pilot plan as required. + Author protocols, reports and required analytical documentation in line with best practice and internal SOP requirements. + Assist in finding solutions for difficult technical issues using experience, knowledge, external research, and internal SME advice. + Communicate effectively and ensure any challenges or risks are highlighted in a timely manner. + Build knowledge of respective areas of the product portfolio and technologies, leveraging this within day-to-day activities. + Contribute to the wider team objectives with respect to compliance, H&S, KPI targets and audit readiness. + Actively contribute to process improvements to increase productivity, introduce efficiencies for PDM and our cross functional partners, and elevate our compliance standards. + Act as the R&D representative in cross functional discussions, whilst effectively collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders **The experience we're looking for** + Degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Chemistry or Biological Science. + Desirable, but not essential, to have relevant experience of product development within an R&D Healthcare or FMCG or Medical Device environment + Results-oriented, self-motivated with an ability to evaluate and take risks. + Good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills. + Ability to work under pressure and multitask without compromising quality and delivery. + Strong intellectual curiosity ability to think out of the box.
