Quality Team Leader
Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Team Leader to provide leadership in across the Fluid Conveyance division site level in Cerkezkoy, Tekirdag.

As a Quality Team Leader at Danfoss, you will oversee and lead the quality assurance team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your role will involve coordinating quality control processes, developing quality improvement strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

Prepare and monitor quality work packages for projects. Manage all quality control processes from project initiation to closure. Establish, implement, and continuously improve process quality systems. Monitor, report, and analyze process quality performance indicators. Collaborate with the team to prepare PPAP issues during project management and ensure readiness for mass production. Contribute to process improvement by working in close coordination with production and engineering teams. Take an active role in FMEA and Control Plan preparation activities during both project and serial production phases. Organize and execute product and process audits in line with Danfoss QMS requirements. Manage customer PPAP processes and documentation. Take an active role in analyzing customer complaints and nonconformities, conducting root cause analysis, and following up on improvement actions. Lead and support the development of quality engineers/technicians/specialists within the team. Organize training and awareness activities to promote a culture of quality within the organization. Knowledge and experience with quality tools such as 8D,FMEA,PPAP,MSA and SPC Experience in internal and external audit processes (ISO 9001,IATF 16949 auditor certificates are preferable) Problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques (8D,5 Why,Fishbone diagram) Skilled in MS Office applications and Quality Management Systems (QMS,ERP) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Minimum 7 years of experience in project and process quality management Team-oriented with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset Experienced in project management,preferably with a PMI certification Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Demonstrated experience in managing customer PPAPs,process audits and quality improvement initiatives Strong communication skills in English Employee Benefits
