The Position
As a Quality Specialist for the Legal, Quality & Compliance department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring patient safety and product quality. Your main task will be to maintain and implement the Novo Nordisk Quality Management System (QMS) in the UK. In addition to that, you will support audits and inspections, acting as a key point of contact and subject matter expert and manage quality risk, deviation handling, and change control processes.
Other responsibilities include:
• Overseeing document control, archiving and records management.
• Supporting Quality Management Reviews (QMR) and GDP/GMP processes.
• Acting as the affiliate ISOtrain training coordinator, ensuring compliance with regulatory training requirements.
• Fostering a strong quality culture through contracts and quality agreements.
• Leading and taking ownership of local quality-related projects.
It is a hybrid role where 2 days of office presence in our Gatwick office would be expected.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
• University or equivalent degree
• Fluency in both written and oral English
• Broad knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• Experience with GDP Quality and Quality Management Systems
• Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, including GDP activities
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Project management skills and the ability to build a business case and project plans
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
