Quality Food Safety Supervisor
Overview QFS Supervisor responsible for ensuring product quality in supply chain. He or she may lead local or regional projects (initiatives) in the area of quality in supply chain. Responsibilities Ensure the consistent application of the PepsiCo Quality Management System at Co-packer by: Ensure products are safe and compliant in accordance to mandatory PepsiCo policies (allergens, GMOs, nutrition, etc.) and relevant Vietnamese legislation. Ensure that legislative requirements are in place prior to introduce a new product to the market. Ensure all products circulate in the market comply with Vietnam regulatory Responsible for yearly HACCP verification, validation Responsible for updating change over product cleaning matrix if any changes related to new product, process, etc. Responsible for Food Safety System program, such Allergen, Food Defense, Pathogen Environment Management, Inactive Pathogen, Foreign Matter Supervise inspection activities from Co-packer’s QC to incoming packaging, ingredient materials Deploy yearly productivity projects Built and control Opex properly Ensure adherence to good hygienic, PI warehouse and distribution practices in Supply Chain by implementing and supervising by: Supervise the program to reduce the Quality Waste (Bad Goods related to Supply Chain Quality) Supervise compliance to PespiCo’s standards of Quality & Food Safety from daily operation at Co-packer Resolving all Supply Chain related Quality issues Implement Supply Chain Quality auditing program for all Supply Chain facilities by: Controlling, and managing the program Assessing the performance of the quality system and reporting its effectiveness to management Proposing actions for improvement Ensuring the auditing program is in line with Market/Business requirements. Participating in Customer auditing schemes (when required) Motivates quality awareness/quality culture across whole Supply Chain through: Conducting Quality & Food Safety Awareness sessions, in collaboration with Quality Team, Co-packer for training to Quality & Food Safety Management System People and know-how: Coordinate with the Cross functions the necessary resources for carrying out the initiatives, and checking their availability. Facilitate the training program for the initiative in conjunction with key stakeholders (e.g. Factories, Supply Chain, Sale team) Assessment and verification: Coordinate and conduct quality assessment for Warehouse & Distributors Warehouse Drive quality improvement of distributors' warehouses through training and auditing Coordinate/support retail quality assessment to drive quality improvement. Qualifications University Degree in chemistry (Foods chemistry/ applied chemistry, chemical engineering…) At least 5 years experiences in R&D or QA Have good written and oral communication skills in both English and Vietnamese. Had experiences on deploying Food Safety & Quality Systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, AIB, QSHA, ASHA and others (experience work with co is plus). Intermediate computer (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) skill. Good communication, negotiation, analytical, problem solving skills
