Job Description:

-Performing inspections of welded joints and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
-Overseeing destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to evaluate weld quality
-Identifying and resolving welding-related issues, such as defects or non-conformance in welded products.
-Implementing quality assurance programs and conducting audits to ensure adherence to quality standards
-Providing training for welders and other personnel on quality standards, welding techniques, and safety practices.
-Maintaining records of welding processes, inspections, and test results to ensure traceability and compliance.
-Working closely with design engineers, production teams, and suppliers to address welding-related concerns and improve processes.
-Participating in initiatives to enhance welding processes and reduce defects, often using methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing.
-Ensuring that all welding activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
-Approve internal PPAP process for welded parts in house
