Emphasizing the prevention of defects before production, you will focus on maintaining established quality standards by conducting root cause analyses and collaborating with teams to address deviations promptly. + Develop, implement and maintain Quality systems to meet the requirements of production, ISO 9001 and TL 9000 + Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns + Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, lean methods, etc. + Develop training to build quality awareness + Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to production of new products are in accordance with customer requirements + Support training to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system + Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc. + Provide statistical analysis and support to engineering and production as related to quality issues. + Responsible to lead the team when Customer Notifications arrive and assure the closure of the actions regardless which department caused the failure Education: + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field + Certification or experience in quality management systems + Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools + Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and data interpretation **Competencies/Skills** In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards in optical cable manufacturing + ISO 9001 > TL9000 + Experience with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or similar quality frameworks.
