Purchasing Manager México for Volvo Buses
Your Role:
As Purchasing Manager, you will lead the site commodity buyers’ team and manage supplier relationships after selection, ensuring production readiness and performance.
You will drive sourcing input and implementation, manage local supplier performance, negotiate commercial agreements, and secure purchasing contributions for tenders and Service Market. Your role includes leading daily activities and long-term strategies to support cost targets, delivery performance, continuous improvement and ensure VG´s sustainability requirements are met by our supply partners. All while empowering your team to grow and succeed.

Your Background:
University degree in Business, Engineering or similar. 5–10 years’ experience in purchasing, preferably in automotive. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams. Fluent in English; international exposure is a strong plus.Key Competencies:
