What makes the position interesting?
The role of an Apprentice Innovation PPL is to meet the needs of the NBF (New Business Factory) programs (supplier technologies, geographical location and target costs), and to ensure the commodity panel strategy is appropriate to support the acquisition. The Apprentice Innovation PPL should achieve a strategic scouting for new components not yet managed inside the Group targeted supplier panel.
- Support of Project team: RFI & RFQ for series and proto (Economic synthesis and negotiation for convergence to objectives « Quality Cost Delivery ».
- Supplier scouting for new process to achieve a reliable supplier panel: identify partner suppliers for critical components development, constitute a strategic panel according to the Group criteria and the need of the program, when the panel is not existing yet.
- Contractualization (NDA, contract of development, orders…)
- Negotiate and implement development agreement with suppliers when relevant.
- Direct performance follow-up during the NBF program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and especially ensure that the program phase reviews, or " gate " reviews are supported according to the defined deliverables in the Innovation Program Management System (iPMS).
- Facilitate the transfer of the Innovation/NBF to the Division regarding purchasing aspect.
In study of Master’s degree in engineering/business with a specialization in international purchasing
- Dynamic and agile and able to work in a matrix organization
- Willing to learn pragmatically
- Good communicator, active listener with analytical skills
- Curious and able to provide “fresh eyes” on current organization
- English is mandatory
- Good in Excel and knowledge of VBA/Marco
