We are looking for a purchasing intern to join our team!

Our Forvia Interior Systems activity is looking for a Productivity Buyer for its site based in Saint Michel sur Meurthe.

We develop and build complete interior systems, including dashboards, door panels, smart surfaces and center consoles for the automotive industry.

Connected with the serial buyer of the site, you work to optimize the 62€ million purchases and thus improve the profitability of the site.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

- Seek for cost reduction solutions on purchased parts (through negotiation and search for new technical solutions).

- Manage the actions identified to ensure quick implementation.

- Consult suppliers and organize productivity workshops.

- Work in collaboration with other support functions (logistics, quality, accounting, finance, etc.) on complex supplier subjects.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

- Level of training Bac +4/5 in Engineering or in Commerce/Management

- Management skills and IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Teamwork, initiative, interpersonal skills.

- Autonomous and rigorous

- Ability to work in English
