**Job summary** We are seeking a skilled PTG Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience in PL/SQL MySQL and Python. The ideal candidate will work from our office during day shifts contributing to the development and maintenance of our database systems. This role does not require travel. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain database systems using PL/SQL MySQL and Python to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Design and implement efficient database solutions to support various applications and services. + Perform regular database tuning and optimization to enhance system performance. + Conduct thorough testing and debugging of database systems to identify and resolve issues promptly. + Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices and adhering to company policies. + Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve database-related issues. + Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems including design implementation and maintenance procedures. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve database solutions. + Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. + Collaborate with other developers to integrate database solutions with front-end and back-end applications. + Monitor database performance and implement necessary changes to improve efficiency and scalability. + Assist in the planning and execution of database migrations and upgrades. **Qualifications** + Possess strong experience in PL/SQL MySQL and Python with a proven track record of developing and maintaining database systems. + Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues. + Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Show a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality database solutions. + Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. + Display the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Experience with database tuning and optimization techniques is highly desirable. **Certifications Required** Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate MySQL Database Administrator Certification Python Institute PCEP Certification.
