Property Tax Director Job ID 219749 Posted 16-May-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Valuations/Appraisal Location(s) New York City - New York - United States of America **About The Role:** + As a CBRE Property Tax Director, you’ll be responsible for meeting the property tax needs of large and high-profile clients. + This job is part of the Valuation function. They are responsible for inspecting and determining values of land, property, and businesses. **What You'll Do:** + Act as the primary client interface for daily operations. + Connect with tax officials related to appeals. Attend property tax valuation hearings as appropriate. + Work with tax officials related to appeals. Present recommendations and drive solutions. + Review properties assigned and identify whether to appeal property assessment values. + Prepare sophisticated appeals for property valuation. Ensure there is enough support needed for billing. + Assist the Director with efficient review and appeal processes for property values. + Present data to executive management for developing revenue. + Maintain state property tax agent licensing. + Mentor Associate team members to support clients’ needs. + Apply sophisticated knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. + Demonstrate expertise in own field and detailed understanding of other fields within the organization function. + Mentor others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view. + Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. The minimum salary for the Property Tax Director position is $200,000.00 annually [or $96.15 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Property Tax Director position is $200,000.00 annually [or $96.15 per hour].
