Discover Impactful Work:

Provides tactical support for client-facing projects. Manages and supports project performance with specific emphasis on financial management of the program and progressive responsibility for client communications. Provides internal consulting on project management issues and identifies opportunities for process and efficiency improvement. Identifies and escalates risks identified to project timelines and meeting financial objectives for both internal goals and client expectations.  

A day in the life:

Provides oversight and coordination of study initiation.  Understands protocol language and translates to internal systems and processes.Prepares for and facilitates internal meetings; attends external meetingsCoordinates stability launchesMaintains project set-up and sample test schedulingEvaluates and manages project timelines and deliverablesUnderstands and adheres to contract language, support contract management processManages project setup and financials  Responsible for projections, forecast and revenue recognition for fee for service, hourly or FTE programs, adhering to client budgets and utilization targets, adjusting forecasts or project priority weekly as necessary; communicate routine FTE utilization and spend.  Progressive responsibility for internal and external communications, beginning with project financial coordination.  Assists client relationship manager with meeting minutes and action items to support client projects  Manages study documents and testing directives, shares data/reportsSupports fee for service and hourly contract review processesProvides/Supports training of Program Manager IInvolvement in cross-functional initiatives/process improvements. Monitors and leads all aspects of designated clinical/non-clinical trial protocols and is accountable for overall project performance and client’s happiness by meeting their needs and expectations through the life cycle of the assigned clinical trials project/protocol(s).Consults and utilizes, where appropriate, the scientific input of laboratory management, technical staff and support teams to assist the client with management of the clinical trial.Monitoring of budget, revenue forecasting/recognition and contract modification submission, review and follow upCoordinates review of data transfer agreement and data transfer requestsPreparation of meeting agenda/minutes and timelines for data transfersUnderstands protocol language and translates to internal systems and processes.Involvement in cross-functional initiatives/process improvements

Keys to Success:

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Experience

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.Labs project management experience preferred.Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Years of experience are not to be used as the only determining factor in establishing the job class or making employment selection decisions.
