We are currently seeking an experienced and competent Program Coordinator in Athens, Greece.

What Part Will You Play?

Performs moderately complex project administration tasks to support projects generally within standard procedures, but on occasion may need to deviate slightly from accepted practice

Within established guidelines, enters and updates project plan data and related documentation, such as issue, risk, or governance logs into databases and/or the system of record for the purposes of ensuring accurate project planning, tracking, and billing; may train users on the use of project management tools and on operational procedures

Follows internal procedures, and monitors and ensures the company’s standard implementation procedures, policy, and control mechanisms are strictly adhered to during the project implementation cycle; escalates when procedures are not followed

Supports the project by tracking the implementation progress, and escalates to supervisor and/or project management team when milestones are not being met

Coordinates project meetings, including Walkthrough Compliance meetings, etc., by scheduling the appropriate time, booking conference rooms, coordinating travel arrangements for project site visits, and setting-up conference calls

Attends project meetings, and takes notes on issues, risks, and actions; prepares and distributes notes to stakeholders, ensuring agreement from all parties; follows up on actions agreed upon and obtains updates on progress

Produces reports and distributes project-related reports to all stakeholders

Maintains SharePoint sites for the various projects teams

Files project documents accurately and systematically

May make recommendations that require occasional deviation from accepted practice

Performs other related duties as required

What We're Looking For

University Degree in business administration, economics, accounting or related quantitative field

2+ years of relevant professional experience in card payment processing or project management preferably within a fintech, payment institution or bank

Fluency in Greek and English: Excellent written and spoken skills in both languages

Meticulous and accurate, with strong organisation and communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, with excellent organisation around critical deadlines

Ability to use professional knowledge in optimizing business outcomes, system settings and processes

Highly numerical and analytical mindset (investigative, creative, logical, problem solving, technical knowledge)

Strong computer skills, in particular: MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, MS Power Point
