**Your role and responsibilities**
The Technology Expert Labs Worldwide Delivery Practice Leader (Databases) is a strategic leader with an ownership mindset that is dedicated to the planning and global execution of the strategy required to exceed revenue and gross profit targets for the professional services business focused on IBMs Database portfolio. You’ll be responsible for the relationship with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, influencing product direction and for driving skills currency for the delivery team. You’ll be visible internally and externally as a leader for IBM’s Database portfolio and Technology Expert Labs

* Strategic Planning and Execution: Define, implement and continuously iterate on the strategy, staffing, skills, and go-to-market plans required to achieve practice revenue, profit and staffing for the Databases domain, including skills currency and services offerings/assets
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to grow opportunities and drive initiatives.
* Data-Driven Solutions for Opportunities: Championing new solutions based on data and delivery outcomes for untapped opportunities.
* Building Successful Relationships: Developing successful relationships with all levels internal and external to IBM- from engineers to CxOs- with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach health resolution.
* Self-Motivated Problem Solver: Demonstrating a natural bias toward self-motivation and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and presenting solutions.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Experienced Technical Leader: 5+ years as a seasoned technical leadership and credibility, with proven experience of services delivery teams to drive adoption of complex, enterprise-grade technology solutions.
* Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrable mastery for collaboration and driving resolution with a cross functional teams.
* Data and AI Technology Experience: Experience with building creditability for Data and AI methodology and practices for data management, data fabric and data governance enterprise solutions.
* Expertise in Data and IT Technologies: Deep expertise requires an expert technical level in data and IT software technologies including several technology areas such as Snowflake, Databricks, DB2, Netezza, watsonx.data or equivalent enterprise solutions.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Expertise with developing and implementing modern data strategies such as a data fabric with a focus on data collection, management, storage, and analysis
* Data Management and Governance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of data management and governance practices, including data quality, security, and compliance.
* Professional Services Leadership: experience managing, leading and scaling professional services organizations
