Primary Purpose:
Lead and coordinate the activities of the team to achieve its business objectives by
a) Accurately owning the assigned resources
b) Developing the technical skills and leadership of team members
c) Implementing KHMS that guarantee the achievement of the results is balanced.
2) Provide direct mentorship to team members!
3) Ensure close alignment with the line strategy and effective application of all work processes required for the elimination of losses.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver Business targets at shift level Guide team to develop shift plan Lead team to implement shift plan Lead gap analysis and execution of action plans required to close gaps through Equipment and System Owners. Ensure procedures and operating procedures are followed by the team. Lead Daily Management Systems (DMS) execution. Implement and maintain 100% completion of line Daily Management Systems DDS (Daily Direction Setting) BOS/QRP C.I. L. (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) Defect Handling BDE (Break-down elimination) Quality P&S (Planning and Scheduling) CM (Centerline Management) Develop team capability and efficiency. Lead the Work & Development Plan process for the team. Coach and mentor team members, helping them get qualified for the role assigned to them. Manage vacation, over time, absenteeism and cover operating position on the team as needed Lead problem-solving activities Lead the results review process (DDS: Daily Direction Setting) with the team and the line. Help lead the loss analysis and loss elimination process. Mentor and participate in loss elimination projects defined by the team Lead and coordinate activities required to restore production when the line goes down. Support team member to find solutions to sophisticated issues by using 6W2H and 5 whys. Analyze trends on results and systems to find opportunities and set action plans to deliver target results. Promote and foster usage of KHMS tools Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the Springfield QRMP accountability document. Responsible for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes. Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.Qualifications:
LEADERSHIP: Capability to lead a team and deliver the targets required. Basic skills on situational leadership, conflict management, effective mentorship and personal development. TECHNICAL: Proven track record to complete maintenance procedures not only PM but also AM related without help. Basic operation, adjustment and repair of the line assigned. General SOPs application including safety, GMP and food safety related. Advance knowledge on AM and PM pillar. Must meet pre-qualification criteria. LOSS ELIMINATION: Ability to identify and eliminate losses by use of KHMS toolsPhysical Requirements:
Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, ascending, and descending moves up to 50 pounds; holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity vital to operate equipment and disassemble and reassemble equipment.Working Environments:
