Product Owner
Resideo’s Products & Solutions business is seeking a **Product Owner** to drive the growth and expansion of our Occupancy and Presense Sensing platform. This role will lead and manage a cross-functional team of engineers to deliver the initial product & platform and act as the glue between the engineering, innovation, and wider Resideo product teams as they look to integrate Occupancy Sensing technology into their upcoming Comfort, Safety, and Security NPIs. This position reports to the **Sr VP of Innovation** and will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to drive product success. The role is expected to be a **strategic product owner** , influencing product roadmaps, market adoption, and revenue growth while maintaining a strong connection with customers and industry trends. **JOB DUTIES:** + **Portfolio Growth** – Develop strategies to **grow** and expand our Occupancy and Presence Sensing platform, with a vision to scale the business in the coming years. + **Product Roadmap & Development** – Develop and maintain **product roadmaps** , ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. + **Market & Channel Strategy** – Drive adoption of occupancy and presence sensing platform + **Customer Engagement & Sales Support** – Serve as a key **liaison with Sales** , supporting large deals and addressing technical inquiries. Engage with customers weekly, both through direct interaction and travel. + **Financial & Business Ownership** – Take ownership of the P&L, making data-driven decisions on pricing, product mix, and cost economics. Manage **product budgets** for specific projects or features. + **Cross-Functional Leadership** – Partner with Sales, Marketing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure seamless execution of product strategies and collaborate on both existing and new product development. + **Portfolio Optimization & Performance Monitoring** – Manage the full lifecycle of the product portfolio, deploying strategies to simplify and enhance offerings for market success. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to guide strategic decisions. + **Project & Timeline Management** – Oversee NPI project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful execution. + **Market Research & VOC Initiatives** – Conduct **market research** to identify customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends. **Gather and prioritize market requirements** through **Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives** to inform product strategy and roadmap. **MUST HAVES:** + 8+ years of related experience in fields including Product, Engineering, Business Strategy (combination of related field experience preferred) + 5+ years of New Product Development and New Product Introduction (NPI) experience  + Ability to travel up to 15% **WE VALUE:** + Strong **customer-facing skills** , with the ability to build relationships and gather actionable insights. + A **collaborative and progressive mindset** , thriving in a highly dynamic and team-oriented environment. + A results-driven approach with a **sense of ownership** over product success. + A passion for **growing a business** and developing a modern, market-leading portfolio.
