To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, the Product Engineer role involves responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.

What a typical day looks like:

BOM's Management and Implementation.Engineering Change Management and Implementation.Definition of Manufacturing Process Routes.Technical Support to CFTs (Customer Work Teams).Management and Control of Drawings and Product Specifications.Leading work meetings.Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and waste reduction.Provide training to technicians and develop better product knowledge.Leadership.Direct customer contact

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Engineering or bachelor’s degree completed.Advanced English communication skills (verbal and written)Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.Expertise in NPIExperience in Product Lifecycle systems (Agile, Arena, Procom) and MRP System (SAP, Baan).Experience using Floor shop systems.Knowledge in personnel management experience in ECO´s implementationKnowledge in creating and reading BOMs.Leadership - Work team management experience.
